Raphael Coelho founded X-Sigma Partners in 2022 with the goal of operating early-stage brands in lifestyle retail – the group currently holds MYbarre Fitness, ABORO Boxing, and Wagtopia Pet Bakery & Grooming.

He was the CEO of Popeyes China launching and operating the brand since 2019. Previously, Raphael served in Restaurant Brands International (RBI) for 6 years and worked in numerous executive positions for its subsidiary brand Burger King in Latam, EMEA and Asia Pacific. Before joining the food & beverage industry, Raphael was an Entrepreneur in Residence for a fintech start-up of Rocket Internet group and worked for Whirlpool Latin America, serving in a variety of management positions.

Raphael Coelho holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Federal University of Brasilia, and Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
